Our training programs are designed to help you achieve your goals in the most effective, time-efficient manner possible.

 

Cynergy is NOT your typical gym or health club.  In fact, we are not a gym at all and that's just the way we like it!

 

We pride ourselves in providing our clients with inventive, ever-changing, high intensity workouts, every single day -- that challenge even the fittest of athletes!

 

Even in a group environment, we tailor the program to your individual fitness level.  This means that whether you are an elite athlete, a full-time Mom, an AARP card-carrying member or a budding child athlete, you will experience a workout that feels like you have your own personal trainer -- but at a much lower cost.

 

We work every level of fitness into our programs.

Cynergy CrossFit

CrossFit is a strength and conditioning system based on functional movements performed at a high-intensity while incorporating variation among planes of movements and metabolic pathways.

 

CrossFit is designed for universal scalability. We scale loads and intensity. We do not change the program.

 

CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of the ten recognized fitness domains:

 

  • cardio/respiratory endurance

  • flexibility

CrossFitKidsCrossFit Kids
Healthy living requires that our kids jump, run, roll, push, pull, rotate, swing, slam, punch, kick, and throw: all the ingredients for elite fitness for kids and its FUN! Regardless of whether or not they play athletics. Athletics is a specialized pursuit. Our goal is to support the specialist, but reward the generalist.

 

Crossfit Kids Program – is designed to get kids fit through challenging physical activity. General physical preparedness allows children to develop general motor skills, flexibility, strength, speed and a healthy mental state. Crossfit Kids program will not only prepare kids for movement but also develop a strong work ethic and teamwork skills.

 

Program Design – Crossfit kids is scaled to ability allowing all to participate. Our program delivers a fitness that is, by design, broad, general, and inclusive. Our specialty is not specializing. We use the same routines for 4 year olds and elite high school athletes. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

 

 

Program Focus – Fundamentals and technique, athletes will be taught how to move their bodies in the proper plans of motion and to develop life long movement patterns that will apply to all sports and life. Emphasis will be placed on proper running form (locomotion), squatting body weight (lowering center of mass), body weight push ups and assisted pull ups (pushing and pulling), core to extremity movements (rotation).

Youth Sports Camp - 4th to 8th Graders

July thru August

Cynergy Youth Sports Camp is designed to get kids in shape to play sports. We focus on the abilities that enhance the skills of the game. The camp is a fun way to help the kids jump right into the game with an improved sense of confidence and ability. Less injuries, more playing time and more fun.

Cynergy Boot Camp SaturdaysCynergy Boot Camp Saturdays
Keep that Boot Camp-fit body during the off-season! 

Cynergy Boot Camp is held from January through March, every Saturday at our Hanson studio from 8:00 to 9:30 am.

Skills Training
Cynergy CrossFit Skills Training is designed to take you through the basics of the CrossFit exercises and prepare you for better results.  After the class you will have a better grasp of the movements and proper substitutions for exercises that suit your specific needs.

Schedule:  The class is held Tuesdays evenings from 5:00 - 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings from 9:00 to 10:00 am. 

Sign-up required:  Please sign the white board (or contact us) if you plan on attending.  If no one is signed up, we will not have the class.  Due to the depth of instruction the class will be limited to 8 people to insure more individual attention for each client.

We will work on approximately 5 skills in each class.

**POSE is a method of running developed for Olympic runners that uses specific techniques to help you run easier and with less injuries.

The class is taught by Keith Brown, a certified CrossFit Level 1 instructor.

The cost of the Skill Training classes is free to Cynergy Members.
Drop-ins are $20.00.
